On 6th January 2016, delegates of Aide et Action Cambodia met with H.E. Dr. HANG Chuon Naron, Minister, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport and relevant departments to discuss the results of a baseline survey of Out of School Children at primary school level conducted under the Cambodia Consortium for Out of School Children (CCOSC).
In this meeting Aide et Action Cambodia presented the result of CCOSC project from July to December 2015. Aide et Action Cambodia and its partner organisations supported 16,020 Out of School Children under the following components Children with Disabilities, Ethnic Minority Children, Poor and Remote, Street children and Over Age, to go to school in 19 Provinces.
H.E. Dr. HANG Chuon Naron, Minister, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport expressed appreciation to Aide et Action Cambodia and its partner organisations for its work with children, and specifically Out of School Children in Cambodia. He encouraged Aide et Action Cambodia and partners to continue cooperate with MoEYS to cope with specific issue in the target area.
